Felix joined Heartcore Capital in 2021. Previously, he worked closely with the founders of the unicorn last-mile delivery company Flaschenpost. He focused on setting up the blueprint for the company's grocery segment, as well as supporting M&A activities and funding rounds.
He holds an MSc in Management from London Business School and a BSc in Business Administration from Frankfurt School of Finance. At Heartcore Felix is focusing on founders in the DACH region.
Mikkel joined Heartcore in 2022. He previously worked as a lawyer for the Danish law firm Mazanti, and the Danish listed company GN, where he advised on venture capital and M&A transactions. At Heartcore Mikkel acts as Senior Legal Counsel and heads up transactions for the the investment team. Mikkel was educated at University of Copenhagen and LUISS.
Jimmy co-founded Heartcore Capital in 2007

His passion for technology investing
and entrepreneurship started in asset management where he earned his investment merits
at BankInvest. Before launching Heartcore,
he kickstarted his VC career at Vaekstfonden. Jimmy holds a MSc in Finance from Copenhagen Business School (CBS). At Heartcore, he focuses on entertainment, finance and climate-friendly energy. He also manages Heartcore’s LP relationships.
Christian co-founded Heartcore Capital in 2007 out of a desire to work with talented and courageous founders in order to help them fulfill their visions. He previously founded technology startups in both Europe and the US, and views Heartcore as his third entrepreneurial journey. Christian holds a BSc in electrical engineering from the Danish Engineering Academy and an MBA from Georgetown University. At Heartcore Christian focuses on digital health, productivity software and finance.
Levin joined Heartcore in 2019 from Global Founders Capital (the $BN VC arm of Rocket Internet) where he was responsible for investments in Canva, Heyjobs, Instarem, Anyfin and others. Levin started his career in tech as one of the first employees at Danish unicorn Tradeshift. He holds an MSc in Finance and Entrepreneurship from WHU. At Heartcore, Levin focuses on deep tech, CSS (consumer subscription software) and marketplace models. He’s particularly drawn to founding teams that are looking to build category-defining consumer companies.
Max joined Heartcore Capital from Accel Partners in 2013. He was previously an entrepreneur and angel investor (last.fm, onefinestay). He learned the VC business at Atlas Venture (now Accomplice), working on companies such as Zoopla, Dailymotion, MOO, and others. Max holds a PhD in economics from WHU, Germany’s leading business school, and is a certified professional executive coach. At Heartcore, he focuses on travel, social and DTC retail.
Yacine joined Heartcore in 2013 from Goldman Sachs where he was investing in publicly listed companies on behalf of the bank. He was also an angel investor in the Ethereum and Polkadot networks. Yacine holds an MSc in Management from HEC Paris and an MSc in Finance from Bocconi University. At Heartcore, Yacine leads our activities in France and focuses on food, housing, and Web3.
Signe joined Heartcore in 2019 from French oil company Total, where she was deputy managing director and commercial lead in Kenya. Before that, she spent almost 6 years as legal counsel to Maersk Oil - supporting operations, international contracts and M&A. Prior to her operational roles, she worked as an M&A lawyer with Kromann Reumert, one of the leading Danish law-firms. At Heartcore, Signe focuses on legal and day-to-day operations. She supports the investment team in the execution of all transactions and drives most of our internal processes.
Yohan joined Heartcore Capital in 2019. He holds an MSc from ESSEC Business School, and was previously working at London-based seed fund firstminute capital. At Heartcore, Yohan focuses on CSS (consumer subscription software), marketplaces and crypto, with a specific view on France.
Paulina joined the Heartcore Capital team in 2020. She previously worked in active portfolio management of public equities and later moved on to private equity, gaining relevant equity markets experience. She became a consumer space aficionado after developing the go-to-market strategy for an early-stage telehealth player. Paulina holds a BSc. in International Business Administration & Finance from WHU. At Heartcore, Paulina is looking for fast-growing and category-defining ventures, and is focused on Germany.
Björn joined Heartcore in the fall of 2020. He honed his experience in the early-stage startup world as one of Antler’s first employees, the global startup generator, and early-stage VC. He was part of the small team launching Antler for the first time outside of Singapore, gaining valuable experience both as an operator and as an investor from the vast array of startups and founders he worked with over the years. He holds an MSc in Corporate Finance and a BSc in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics. At Heartcore, Björn is focused on the Nordic market and is particularly drawn to founders obsessing over customer experience, passionately building with the end-user in mind.
Søren joined Heartcore Capital in 2008 and has since then built the back-end of of our company across Finance, Compliance and Administration. Prior to joining the team, Søren spent over 2 years at McDonald’s Denmark where he worked with the internal performance data analysts and reported to Head of Accounting. Søren spent 4 years at evening school and holds a graduate diploma (GDBA) in Management Accounting and Process Management from Copenhagen Business School (CBS).
Peter joined Heartcore Capital in 2015. Prior to this, he worked for 10 years in the stamp business, valuating and processing stamp collections. He was introduced to Economics at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and from there went on to work in Finance. At Heartcore Capital, Peter is an integral part of the finance department, and ensures a smooth day-to-day running of the business.

Angelo joined Heartcore Capital as an investor in 2022. Prior to joining Heartcore, he accumulated experience at HV Capital and Rentcoin, a real-estate tokenization company that he started as a student. Angelo is based in Berlin and focuses on web3, with emphasis on decentralized finance, scaling solutions and dApps. Angelo holds a BA in social science from the University of Magdeburg.
Camilla joined the Heartcore Capital team in 2022. She started her career in marketing at Swarovski in New York and then worked at Farfetch in both their New York and London offices for almost three years. She has also consulted for a number of D2C startups, helping them build their brand, ramp-up costumer acquisition and develop go-to market strategies. She holds a BA from Georgetown University, and an MBA from INSEAD. At Heartcore, Camilla is responsible for all internal marketing and communication initiatives and also works directly with our portfolio companies’ founders and CMOs on their marketing efforts. She is based remotely in Lisbon.

Torben joined Heartcore in 2022. He previously worked for Bjarke Ingels and BIG as Asset and Investment Advisor in charge of private and corporate investments and for Intertrust Group Denmark as a Business Unit Manager and leading a Fund Administration team of 8 people.
At Heartcore Torben functions as Finance Manager in charge of system implementation and focus on analyses. He also functions as Risk Manager for the Heartcore entities under the AIFM act.
Sascha joined the Heartcore team in 2023. Prior to this she worked for FSN Capital for 5 years as an Executive Assistant, supporting several of the Partners at the Copenhagen office and the Executive Advisor group with the recruitment of student assistants, event planning, updating intro slides for the deal team and general office support. Sascha has had many different administrative roles, including HR Assistant at Maersk, Consular Assistant at the British Embassy in Copenhagen, and Office Manager at Cognizant Technology Solutions . At Heartcore, Sascha is part of the Operations team and works closely with the Partners on keeping track of deadlines, preparing and sending out material for meetings, calendar management and more.
